Central European stock exchanges have come under heavy selling pressure as a result of investors fleeing riskier assets. Concerns over the eurozone debt crisis and stalling global growth have spurred serious downward moves in both financial and energy stocks, both of which have a particularly heavy weighting on the Czech Republic's PX and Hungary's BUX equity indices. Future direction is very much hostage to eurozone policy
