SSA: Regional Inflation Snapshot

The outlook for inflation across Sub-Saharan Africa is mixed. Broadly speaking, we see price pressures building in key markets in West Africa; for Southern Africa we expect inflation to abate with the exception of South Africa; and for East Africa, we see inflation generally remaining elevated over the short term and then declining sharply through the course of 2012.
