Iran Closes Hormuz: What If?

Tensions across the Middle East are once again rising, following repeated claims by the Iranian regime that they will seek to close the Strait of Hormuz in retaliation for the latest round of economic sanctions imposed on the central bank by the American government. Combined with recent announcements of out Tehran that they will be conducting new military exercises in the Strait, fears of an armed conflict between the Islamic Republic and Western powers are building.
