KLSE: Scope For Major Gains In '05

Malaysia's KLSE equity index has reached a 56-month high of 930.63, and we believe that the bourse can continue to climb during 2005. In fact, we have been bullish since at least July 2004 (see 13 July 2004, KLSE: Long-Term Outlook Bright), and since November have seen a move to 1,000 within reach. If the latter level is decisively breached, we would expect further gains to 1,200 over the medium term.
