Ratings Robust Despite Adverse Global Conditions

BMI View: We are impressed by the Middle East region's resilience in the face of adverse global economic conditions, with still strong growth, balance of payments and debt positions forecast, even among non-oil exporting states. It is telling that all our countries' sovereign risk ratings remain broadly unchanged in spite of the global turbulence that has prevailed since we last updated them.
