CentAm: Trade Deficit Heading Further South

BMI View: We are concerned about the spike seen in Central America's cumulative trade deficit in recent years caused by robust domestic demand and soaring global commodity prices. Moreover, the prospects of a reversal in this trend this year or next are looking increasingly slim.
