Equities: Not Ready To Call A Bottom

Following the rejection of the US bailout plan, and the subsequent battering of Latin America's benchmark stock markets, the short-term outlook for local equities is extremely precarious, to say the least. Given the sharp sell-off yesterday, we cannot discount a near-term equity bounce.
