PSEi Facing Resistance At 2,300; KLSE At 1,035
May 2009 | Market StrategyThe Philippine and Malaysian stock markets are facing resistance at 2,300 and 1,035, respectively. Both have seen sharp rallies over the past two months, mirroring the performances seen elsewhere in Asia, which reflects perceptions that the global economy is bottoming out. However, as with other Asian equity indices, relative strength indices (RSIs) are in overbought territory, thereby meriting caution towards the Philippine and Malaysian markets.
