Stocks Returning To Early 2009 Low?

The brief rally in the Kuwait Stock Exchange General Index (KWSE) that we flagged up two weeks ago as the possible beginnings of a reversal in trend has faltered (see Heads Up For Possible Equity Reversal?, December 16 2009). Having broken through very short-term technical resistance, the index failed to reach multi-month resistance at around the 7,200-7,300 area.
