Recovery Under Assessment

Bahraini markets have underperformed compared to their GCC neighbours. For the time being we hold on to our cautious view waiting for a positive indicator of a potential recovery. Pointers as such would be a monthly close above 1,600 for the Bahrain All-Share Index (BASI) and a rise in investors' confidence in the Bahraini financial environment. Contributing evidence to the latter would be the ability of BBK to successfully issue a benchmark bond.
