Economic Miracle Unsustainable

Germany's robust rate of economic expansion will not be sustainable over coming quarters. A deteriorating external environment spurred by fiscal consolidation, deflating credit and a wind down of inventory restocking will result in weaker industrial order numbers. With the German labour market unlikely to improve substantially, we believe that domestic demand will not be enough to maintain strong economic growth in 2011.
