We reiterate our bearish view on Central European equity markets as the macroeconomic situation in the region continues to deteriorate and investor sentiment towards CE assets is dampened by heavy exposure to the eurozone debt crisis. Since first espousing our negative outlook for the region's markets on November 11, the Czech Republic's PX equity index, Hungary's BUX and Poland's WIG20 have all remained in a steady downward trend.
