The taka should remain stable at around BDT68.60/US$, as it has for much of 2007. Resistance exists at BDT67.80/US$, and support at BDT69.00/US$. In the event of renewed volatility, which could be triggered by dramatic political developments, Bangladesh Bank (BB - the central bank) would step in to stabilise the currency.
