Emerging Balkan equity indices have performed strongly through the first month of 2011 since bouncing in the final quarter of 2010, and are currently testing key technical resistance levels. We do not rule out further upside in the near term, should a break into higher trading ranges occur as seen in Bulgarian equities at the start of February.
